Center fielder Steve Finley homered and had 4 RBI as the Caracas Leones beat
the hopeless Burbank Tigers in 14 innings by a score of 5 to 4.

The score was tied at 3 after nine.  Caracas came out the victor in the 14th
inning.  After an out was recorded, Gary Sheffield doubled.  Jorge Posada
next to the plate and he drew a walk.  Finley then slapped a base-hit making
Caracas the winners and sending the 55,064 fans home happy.  Caracas and
Burbank each finished the afternoon with 12 hits.  

Billy Wagner(1-2) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Jason Davis(0-2)
took the loss in relief.  He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings giving up 3 hits and 1
walk.
